Commissioned by Granite Energy of Salt Lake City, Chad Hawkins created nine pen and ink renderings highlighting moments in the American petroleum industry. To create the antique look of an old archival image, he used sepia and black tones, faded some areas and deckled the edges for additional visual aging.
