For over a decade, Chad has been a favorite speaker at hundreds of Institute of Religion devotionals, youth conferences, BYU Women's Conference, and Especially For Youth camps. At the request of others, Chad converted the topics he shares with the youth into his second book, Youth and the Temple. This Deseret Book publication is a wonderful blend of inspiration and information focusing on how the temple can be an important role in the everyday lives of those preparing for the temple. |

In the autumn of 2003, the Deseret Book Publishing Company introduced, Latter-day Heroes. In Latter-day Heroes, Chad tells in story and illustration about more than a dozen Latter-day Saints from many walks of life who have accomplished extraordinary things in their chosen fields. From Philo T. Farnsworth, inventor of the television, to astronaut Don Lind; from New York Met opera soprano Ariel Bybee, to baseball great Dale Murphy, these are individuals whose stories will inspire children to find their own talents and strive for excellence in whatever they pursue! |

While preparing to paint The Hague Netherlands Temple, Chad toured the Dutch country side to visit the famous tulip fields. His research and observations aided him in capturing the vibrancy and splendor of tulips grown in Holland. |
