The Caracas Venezuela  Temple is one of a series of detailed pencil drawings and paintings created by the artist Chad S. Hawkins. In 1989, at the age of seventeen, Chad started this series of temple prints to support his two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Frankfurt, Germany. Before drawing each temple, Chad researches its history, construction, and beautiful surroundings. He then returns to his studio to draw the temple by referring to his notes, sketches, and photographs.

As we attend the temple, we learn more richly and deeply the purpose of life and the significance of the atoning sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. Reminding us of these truths, Chad has sketched an image of the Savior, to the left of the temple. To encourage both the adults and the youth to participate in sacred baptismal ordinances, the artist has also included oxen in the landscaping beneath the temple. Chad and his wife, Stephanie, and their children reside in Layton, Utah. Este cuadro del templo de Caracas, Venezuela, forma parte de una serie de dibujos y acuarelas creados por el pintor Chad S. En 1989, a la edad de diecisiete aos, Chad comenzo esta serie de cuadros de los templos para costear su mision de dos aos para la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los ltimos Doas en Frankfurt, Alemania. Antes de dibujar cada tamplo, Chad hace investigacion sobre su historia, construccion, y sus bellos alrededores. Luego regresa a su cuarto de estudio para dibujar el templo al referirse a sus notas, pinceladas, y fotografoas. Al asistir al templo, aprendemos de una manera mos rica y profunda sobre el proposito de la vida y el sacrificio expiatorio del Seor Jesucristo. Recordondonos de estas verdades, Chad ha dibujado una representacion del Salvador, hacia la izquierda del templo. A fin de alentar tanto a adultos como jvenes a participar en la sagrada ordenanza del bautismo, el artista tambin ha incluido bueyes dentro del paisajismo dibujado debajo del templo.  Chad y su esposa, Stephanie, y sus hijos, residen actualmente en Layton, Utah.
