Since the age of seventeen Chad Hawkins has been a popular speaker to hundreds of adult and youth groups. He has been invited to speak in several countries and throughout the United States. He has been invited to speak in several countries, cruise ships, vacation tours, and throughout the United States.
The purpose of his presentations is to make the temple and its blessings a more intricate part of the lives of latter-day saints. In a unique way, Chad shares the inspiring stories he discovered in the course of researching and sketching each of the temples. These motivational stories combined with counsel from the prophets give new appreciation for these modern-day monuments to sacrifice, hard work, and faith. And we will be motivated to become, in the words of President Howard W. Hunter, "a temple-attending and temple-loving people."
Chad tailors his message to specific audiences. His message for adults includes the following topics: Relief Society contributions, inspiring architecture, genealogy, sacrifice of the saints, temple attendance, and preparing out children for the temple. When addressing the youth, the following topics are discussed: youth who have participated in temple building, temple worthiness, redeeming the dead, temple marriage, and what the youth can do today to prepare for the temple.
To accommodate as many as possible, Chad only speaks at stake level events. He shares his presentation free of charge except for travel expenses. He is consistently booked at least one year in advance. Reservations may be made by contacting his art studio.
